5.1 List of device functions and components
(1) - Device socket for handpiece cable

(3) - Knob (potentiometer), setting parameters 1 -10

The power supply cable plug is inserted into the control device bwm 3 device socket (7). The modelling blade
(9) is attached as far as the stop via the hot needle (10) and on the handpiece (11). The completed handpiece
is then pushed as far as the end position on the holder on the side of the device using the handle under the
retaining hook. Insert the handpiece cable into the device socket (1) intended for this purpose in the front
region. Switch the main switch (4) of the device to the on = I position; the indicator light on the main switch
illuminates green. Set the desired temperature on the knob (3). The temperature varies depending on the
setting parameter (steps 1-10), size and shape of the blade used.
