STEP 14 AUTOMATIC ICEMAKER
• Make sure the icemaker is turned to the ON position
ONLY AFTER the water line is connected and
the water is turned on.
• Newly installed refrigerators may need up to 24
hours to cool and for ice production to begin.
WARNING
Avoid contact with the moving parts
of the ejector mechanism, or with the heating element
(located on the bottom of the ice maker) that releases
the cubes. Do not place fingers or hands on the
automatic ice making mechanism while the refrigerator
is plugged in.
AVERTISSEMENT
No
Normal Use
• Normal ice production =
100 - 130 cubes in 24 hours.
To fill bucket to maximum
capacity after installation, dispense
3–4 cubes at 12 hours and 18 hours.
Allow 2–3 days for the bucket to
completely fill with ice.
It is normal for ice to appear discolored initially or after
water filter replacement. After starting the icemaker, or
replacing the water filter, Throw away the first bin of ice
to allow the water line to clear.
The freezer ice maker is available as a kit for
