- PC running Windows 98, 2000 or XP
- CD-ROM/DVD drive
- Free USB port

EL-USB-1 Configuration Software and Driver Installation
---------------------------------------------------------
The following notes cover the recommended installation procedure for software & hardware drivers.
1. Insert the EL-USB-1 Mini-CD into the CD/DVD drive - DO NOT REMOVE IT until you reach the
end of this procedure.
2. The CD should simply auto-run. If the CD does not start automatically click "start", "Run" and type
D:\autorun.exe then click [OK] (where D:\ denotes the CD/DVD drive letter).
3. Step through the wizard selecting the desired options until the installation is complete.
4. Ensure that the battery is in the EL-USB-1.
5. Insert the EL-USB-1 into a free USB port on your computer. The computer will automatically detect
the presence of the EL-USB-1 and start the hardware installation process.
Follow the appropriate section below to install the driver.

6. The first screen indicates that the Add New Hardware wizard will search for drivers for: USB API.
Click [Next].
7. Confirm that "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)" is selected. Click [Next].
8. Ensure that the [CD-ROM drive] box is checked. Click [Next].
9. The wizard will find the best driver for the "F32x Express USB Device" and prompt you to install it.
Click [Next].
10. The message "Windows has finished installing the software." appears.
Click [Finish].
