Installation Instructions for GrowerSelect
Upper Boots, Transfer Plate and Unloaders
(Models 75 and 90)
General Installation Notes:
Installation of this equipment and related OEM equipment should be in accordance with
these instructions, OEM's installation instructions and local codes (if applicable). Failure
to follow specified instructions may cause damage to equipment and/or personal injury or
death.
Take special note of any Warnings or Safety Decals on the equipment and in manuals.
Always wear protective clothing and any applicable Personal Protective Equipment
(Safety Glasses and/or Ear Plugs) when working with the equipment.
Discarded materials, equipment and boxes should be recycled in accordance with local
and national codes.
Unless otherwise specified, all Feed Delivery Systems (Diameters) are installed similarly.
This installation guide is the same whether the feed bin has a standard collar of Feedfas
or similar flow control device.

Grow-Flex Feed System Installation: 1. Insert the Upper Boot into the bin collar opening and rotate to align with direction that auger line will go. The Upper Boot must be inserted into collar as far as it will go. Using the holes in the Collar or ring as a template; drill eight (8) 11/32” (8.8mm) diameter holes in the Upper Boot rim. - Página 4 Grow-Flex Feed System Unloader Boot and Restrictor Baffle Guide Figure 2 5. Bolt the Unloader to the Transfer Plate using four 5/16”-18 x 1” Slotted Screws, washers, and Nuts. Please note proper inlet/outlet orientation of Lower Boot prior to assembly. Grow-Flex Feed System Instalación: 8. Coloque la Bota Superior dentro de la abertura del collar del silo dandole rotación hasta alinear en dirección donde ira la linea del gusano (auger). La Bota Superior debe ser introducida en el collar hasta el fondo. No es recomendado que la puerta corrediza (slide gate) sea utilizada como restrictor del flujo de alimento.
