1) Identify the fixing position of TG1 CAR in the car's engine compartment.
The point selected must meet the following requirements:
a) it must not be near the battery
b) it must not be exposed to sources of direct heat (e.g. too near the radiator or the exhaust
manifold)
c) it must be in an area protected from water splashed when the car is running;
d) it must be in an area which ensures that there is a limited amount of interference with the
transmitter. A suitable position for all kinds of car is on the wing inside the engine
compartment.
2) Set the TG1 CAR code using the dip switch SW1 (9 channels 3 positions, see figure 2) as on a
normal TG series transmitter after opening the container. If necessary, also set the transmission
channel using dip switch SW2, using table 2 as a reference.
3) Thoroughly clean the area where TG1 CAR will be installed (using alcohol or a degreasing agent)
and attach the Velcro strips supplied.

4) Remove the protective film and glue the two Velcro strips, holding them down for approximately
30 seconds. Do not remove TG1 CAR from its fixing position for at least 24 hours so that the glue
can set.
5) Fit the pushbutton (supplied) in the dashboard of the car connecting it to TG1 CAR (use cable
with a minimum cross section of 0.5 mm). See fig. 1.
a) Connect the black TG1 CAR cable to an earth of the car.
b) Connect one of the two pushbutton poles to the +12V power supply.
c) The other pushbutton pole must be connected to the red TG1 CAR cable.
TG1 CAR can be powered with the +12V from a car power supply, e.g. by using the
command used to operate the daytime headlight flashing.
NOTE: The use of the daytime headlight flashing commands is subject to the road safety code.
Therefore, if this type of command is used to power TG1 CAR, Aprimatic S.p.A. will not
be responsible in any way for incorrect use of the system.
For this reason, it is recommended to use the daytime headlight flashing command only if
the car is parked in a private area and not circulating on the public road network.
