GENERAL INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Mini Goumi lets you defrost, heat, cook and liquidise the baby's food
quickly while preserving the vitamins of the food.

SAFETY NOTES:

Read these instructions carefully before using the apparatus and
keep them for future reference.
The apparatus generates hot steam therefore
there is a
•
During the heating cycle, in order to avoid the
RISK OF BURNS:
•
Do not open or touch the orange stopper on the tank.
•
Do not remove or touch the jug, do not open or touch the lid.
•
Do not get close to the front and rear steam outlets of the lid.
•
Do not touch the main body of the apparatus.
Never start a cooking cycle if the stopper is not correctly fitted in
•
place.
•
Let the apparatus cool down for about 5 minutes between 2 consecutive cooking cycles,
otherwise the safety device will prevent the following cycles from starting.
•
Maximum tank capacity =300 ml. Never exceed this amount.
•
Always use bottled mineral water in the tank to reduce the effect of lime scale.
•
Always use the apparatus on a flat surface that is stable and heat resistant.
•
Always leave space above, behind and around the sides of the apparatus to prevent the steam
from damaging walls, shelves or kitchen cupboards.
•
Do not immerse the apparatus or the cable or the plug in water or any other liquid.
•
Do not plug the apparatus in or operate it with wet hands.
•
Unplug the apparatus when it is not in use and always before cleaning it.
•
Do not use abrasive products or materials on any part of the apparatus.
•
Never use sharp instruments to clean inside the tank.
•
Check that the apparatus is functioning correctly before each use.
•
If the product does not work, if it is broken or has been knocked or dropped on the floor: unplug it
and do not handle it. Contact the Jané technical service or authorised repair centres.
•
Check that the food is the correct temperature before starting to feed the baby.
•
Always keep the apparatus completely out of the reach of children.
•
This apparatus is not to be used by children or by people with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities or people who do not have the experience, instructions or knowledge necessary to
operate the apparatus, unless under the supervision of an adult responsible for their safety.
•
This apparatus has been designed for domestic use only.
•
For safety reasons do not liquidise continuously for more than 15 seconds. Mini Goumi is pro-
grammed to interrupt this function for a moment if it exceeds 20 seconds. You can perform as
many cycles of less than 20 seconds as you like.
•
Never unblock the blade with your hand, always use the orange safety key.
•
Clean and dry all the parts, including the tank, before storing the apparatus.
