2. Operation
Insert the chisel, mandrel or other attachments into the pneumatic vibro-hammer.
In order to protect the tool or the holder from damage put down the machine onto the
work surface before switching it on.
The chisel holder does not offer complete safety from accidental loosening of the chisel
or hammer. To avoid injuries the trigger must not be pressed until the chisel or the
mandrel is firmly attached to the work surface.
When the vibro-hammer is not being used the mandrel or the chisel are to be removed
from the device.
During operation the operator must always wear closed safety glasses to protect against
flying rust particles and chips.
Regulate the speed during operation of the tool in order to prevent the chisel to be
propelled out of the cylinder. In case the piston hits the cylinder wall the device will be
damaged.
To change the chisel disconnect the tool from the air supply.
Pull back the spring hook and insert the chisel. Release the spring hook.
To regulate the operating pressure of the machine unscrew the air control knob for higher
air pressure and screw it in for lower air pressure.
Always turn off the air supply, release the air pressure from the hose and disconnect the
tool from the air supply before attaching, removing or adjusting accessories to this tool
and before performing maintenance on this tool.
