2. Design and function

2.3 Vent valve
By opening or closing the vent valve, the case will be vented to or
sealed from the atmosphere.
Vent valve
To close: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "CLOSE"

arrow, until the USIT sealing is pressed together fully.
To open: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "OPEN"
„
arrow, until the retaining ring prevents the vent valve from being
unscrewed further and thus lost.
For any external cleaning ("wash-down"), e.g. in a cabinet
washer, the vent valve must be closed.
