used.
The symbols used in this Instruction Manual and
where necessary on the machine, serve to draw
your attention to possible hazards when work-
ing with this machine.

Do not use this machine before you have
thoroughly read and completely under-
stood this Instruction Manual, including the fig-
ures, specifications and safety regulations.
Read and observe the Instruction Manual
of the GX 75 belt grinder that is to be
mounted to this machine.
This Instruction Manual should be kept for later
use and enclosed with the machine, should it be
passed on or sold.
Use only the fastening material provided for
mounting the radius grinding module to the belt
grinder. When mounted incorrectly, the radius
grinding module can loosen itself from the belt
grinder during the working procedure and lead
to serious injuries.
Use safety glasses. The safety glasses must
be capable of protecting against flying par-
ticles generated by the various different opera-
tions.
Make sure that all clamping levers and clamping
fixtures are firmly tightened. If the machine sud-
denly starts to lower itself or if the work piece
becomes loose during the working procedure,
serious injuries can result.

Intended use of the machine.
The radius grinding module GXR is to be used
together with the GX 75 belt grinder and exclu-
sively for grinding off pipe ends with diameters
between 16 and 76 mm.
