CONDITIONS OF USE
The electric pump must be used respecting the following conditions:
• Maximum liquid temperature: +35 °C
• Maximum liquid density: 1 kg/dm3
• Liquid Ph: 6÷8
• Maximum sand content in the pumped liquid: 150 g/m3
• Maximum submersion depth: 40 m
INSTALLING THE ELECTRIC PUMP
The appliance must be installed by a competent and qualified installer.
When installing the electric pump apply all safety regulations issued by the competent authorities and dictated by common
sense, do not underestimate the drowning hazard if the pump has to be installed in a well with a considerable depth.
Ensure that:
• there is no hazard of toxic exhalations or poisonous gases in the working environment;
• in case of welding all necessary precautions to avoid explosions are taken;
• the well dimensions are suitable for containing the pump and that the characteristics of the water to be pumped are compati-
ble with the data described in the conditions of use;
• the well capacity is adequate to the hydraulic performance of the pump;
• the pump installation depth is sufficient to ensure that it is submerged during operation, the pump running dry will be subject
to serious damage;
• the pump is always supported by an adequate stainless steel cord fixed at one end to the holes provided on the fluid delivery
body and at the other end on the well lid;
• the pump power supply cables are fixed with plastic cable ties every 2 - 3 metres along the fluid outlet piping.
INSTALLING THE PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS
To select the photovoltaic panels follow the indications below:
• the no-load voltage of each string must range between 70 and 100 V
series, a high no-load voltage (but always lower than 100 V
• the current on each module should be lower than 6A : In case of more modules installed in series and in parallel, total current
towards the board should never exceed 25A;
• to guarantee optimal electric pump operation, the overall power delivered by the installed photovoltaic modules must be at
least 960 Wp for FLUID SOLAR with P1=750 W and 1920 Wp for FLUID SOLAR with P1=1500 W;
• installing photovoltaic modules with an overall power above 960 Wp for P1=750 W or 1920 Wp for P1=1500 W guarantees
maximum pump performance for a longer period throughout the day. The increase in power must be obtained by adding more
panel strings in parallel. The no-load voltage delivered to the control panel and motor must not be above 100 V
When installing the photovoltaic panels apply all safety regulations issued by the competent authorities and dictated by common
sense; do not underestimate the fall hazard if the panels have to be installed on a building roof.
The panels can be installed both on the ground or on a building roof. It is the responsibility of the installer to install the photo-
voltaic panels in compliance with the regulations in force in the country in question. The panels must be adequately fixed to a
metal structure protected against corrosion. This structure must be adequately anchored to the ground or to the building where
the installation is being carried out. For maximum performance the panels must point SOUTH and be inclined with respect to
the horizon by an angle depending on the latitude of the installation location. An installation pointing SOUTH with a 30° angle
allows good performance in most applications (for installations in the SOUTHERN hemisphere we request the positioning of the
photovoltaic panels towards NORTH). Ensure that the panel surface is not obstructed during the day or as seasons change by
shade caused by trees or other buildings in the vicinity of the installation.
To guarantee the efficiency of the panels in time regularly check their surface conditions and if necessary clean them.
