OPERATION

button
(ON/OFF...SET) and hold it down for 2 seconds or longer
to set the measured value for the absolute measuring mode.
Measuring range metric (mm): 0, 25, 50, 75 mm.... 275 mm
Measuring range imperial (Zoll): 0, 1", 2", 3".... 11".
Automatically sets the measured value after replacing the battery.

mode. The display shows the following:
If the device is in the relative measuring mode, the INC symbol appears on the LCD display.
If no symbol appears in the LCD display, the device is in the absolute measuring mode.

(ABS...in/mm) and hold it down for 2 seconds or longer
to change the unit of measurement between metric (mm) and imperial (inch).
If the device is in Imperial (inch) mode, the symbol in appears on the LCD display.
No symbole on display indicates Metric (mm) mode.
POWER SUPPLY
CR2032 lithium battery is inserted in the back of the device with positive pole outward.
Replayce the battery as soon as the LCD display is dim or flashing.
The device switches off automatically after five minutes of non-use.
The micrometer can be switched on by pressing the button (ON/OFF... SET) key.
Switch the device off with the button (ON/OFF... SET) to extend the life of the battery.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories
and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner
which is compatible with the environment.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose battery in household waste. Batteries should be disposed of in a
responsible manner, they must be disposed at appropriate collection point. Dispose of this
product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information or give the product for disposal to BGS technic KG or to an electrical
appliances retailer
