CAUTION
Avoid fully pulling out the rope. Return the Handle to its
original position.
Running
1. While standing behind the machine, hold it firmly and

shift the
position quickly. The upright rammer starts to jump and
move forward.

2. Hold the rammer guide bar firmly with two hands. Walk
behind the machine at its own speed and keep controlling
the travelling.
3. Changing direction is done by pivoting the machine around
its vertical axis left or right while it jumps.
4. When coming to a dead-end, shift the throttle to low speed
in order to immobilize the rammer. Turn it around and switch
to high speed in order to make it jump again.
5. Circulate the unit all around the area to be compacted.
Depending on the conditions, three to five passes might be
necessary to obtain proper compaction.
CAUTION
Wearing safety shoes and gloves is compulsory.
Respect the maximum depth of fresh soil to be compacted
(SPECIFICATIONS).
Otherwise
intermediate layer of loose soil.
Do not over-compact the soil: it will only bring
unnecessary wear to the machine.

1. Shift the throttle lever ( , [Figure 9]) to "LOW" speed
position.
2. Allow the engine to run at low speed for 2-3 minutes before
stopping.
3. Turn the STOP SWITCH ( , [Figure 9] (RX-264H &
RX-344H)) counterclockwise to the "OFF" position.
4. Close the fuel cock ( , [Figure 9]).
5. RX-344H only
Close the FUEL COCK ( , [Figure 9]) located under the
fuel tank.
