Symbol Definitions

This symbol indicates that the cables and accessories are designed to have
special protection against electric shocks (particularly regarding allowable
leakage currents), and are defibrillator proof.
These products are for use only in combination with Philips IntelliVue Teleme-
try Systems and Philips Telemetry Systems when listed as accessories in the
system's Instructions for Use.
Cleaning
Keep your cable and detachable shield free of dust and dirt by cleaning it
with a lint free cloth, moistened with either warm water (40°C/104°F
maximum) and soap, a diluted non-caustic detergent or one of the
approved cleaning agents listed below, following the manufacturer's
instructions. Never immerse or soak the cable. Do not allow the cleaning
agent to remain on the cable or the detachable shield – remove it
immediately by wiping with a cloth dampened with water.
If you see signs of deterioration or damage, replace the cable. Do not use
it for further patient monitoring. The detachable shield may be cleaned a
maximum of 15 times. After 15 cleanings, apply a new detachable shield
to the cable (see Ordering Information in this IFU)
