Important
Removal and disposal of the buffer tank must be carried out by a
qualified installer in accordance with local and national
regulations.
1. Cut the mains supply to the heat pump.

Heat pump installation and service manual.
2. Disconnect the temperature sensor.
3. Close the water inlet valves.
4. Drain the installation.
5. Dismantle all water connections fitted to the buffer tank outlet.
6. Scrap or recycle the buffer tank in accordance with local and national
regulations.
