Please note: Your product is equipped with a polar-
ized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade
wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet
only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to in-
sert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the
plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace

OPERATION AND USE
Electrical connection
Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, check
that the mains power supply corresponds to the value
indicated on the rating plate and that the mains

The appliance can be used on any horizontal stable surface.
Do not overload the electrical circuit.
Avoid using the same socket for other appliances.
Please note: the appliance can be easily moved
carring it by the handle. Before moving it remember to turn
it off.
USE
Operation and use
Plug into the mains, turn the thermostat dial (A) to maximum
and turn the appliance on by means of the function selector
(C) as described below:

Summer mode (fan only): turn the function selector
to the
position.
Low power operation: turn the function selector to

position 1.
Medium power operation: turn the function selector

to position 2.

High power operation: turn the function selector to
position 3.

To turn the appliance off completely: turn the function
selector to the "0" position and the thermostat to the "
" position, then unplug from the mains.
Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn
the thermostat dial (A) slowly anticlockwise until you hear a
click and no further.
The thermostat will automatically regulate the temperature
set and keep it constant. In spring or autumn or on mild days,
you can save energy by using minimum power.
Frost prevention mode
With the thermostat dial (A) in the
the power levels selected, the appliance maintains room
temperature at about 41°F (5°C) preventing freezing with
minimal energy consumption.
Models with 24 hour timer
After setting the thermostat and function selector to the re-
quired position, to programme heating, proceed as follows:
-
turn the timer disk (B) clockwise until the arrow on the
timer s lines up with the number corresponding to the
current time.

Set the times when you want the appliance to operate
by pushing the teeth towards the outside. Each tooth
corresponds to 30 minutes.
