For emergency use only, in case of a power outage.
Batteries are not to be used for normal operation of the bed.
STEP 1
Disconnect the Power Supply from the input cord .
STEP 2
Connect (2) Alkaline 9 Volt batteries (not
included) to the Battery Backup Strap . Do
not mix brand name Batteries .

STEP 3
Connect the end of the Battery Backup Strap to the input cord that
is attached to the control box .

STEP 4
Use the remote to return the base to a flat position .
Note: Detach the Battery Backup Strap after the emergency is
over, as the system will continue to draw power from the batteries
even if not in use .
