USE
Use with inspection hole (option 1)
Push the brake pipe up to the centreline of
the inspection hole.
Secure the two clamping screws for clamping
the brake pipe.
Warning
If the two clamping screws are not tightened
sufficiently, the brake pipe may slip in the
clamping jaw during the flaring process, a
clean flaring is then no longer possible.
Wet the stamp of the flaring screw (7) with a
little flaring grease (5) and with the stamp end
first, turn into the basic device completely to
the hexagon.
Use with inspection hole (option 2)
Push the brake pipe over the centreline of the
inspection hole.
Slightly tighten the two clamping screws.
Turn the stop screw (6) up to the hexagon in
the basic device.
Secure the two clamping screws for clamping
the brake pipe.
Warning
If the two clamping screws are not tightened
sufficiently, the brake pipe may slip in the
clamping jaw during the flaring process, a
clean flaring is then no longer possible.
Unscrew the stop screw (6).
Wet the stamp of the flaring screw (7) with a
little flaring grease (5) and with the stamp end
first, turn into the basic device completely to
the hexagon.
