7-Way Sealed Pre-Wire Adapter
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Locate the tow vehicles 4-flat trailer wiring connector. If
the vehicle is not equipped with a 4-flat trailer connecton,
installation of a T-Connector or other 4-flat trailer wiring
product will be required prior to continuing this installation.
3. Locate an appropriate mounting position on the tow
vehicle for the adapter. The 7-way connector must be
mounted in an area within reach of the trailers wiring
harness, near the center of the tow vehicle. Mount the 7-way
connector to the vehicle the using the included attachment
bracket.
4. Plug the harness connector firmly into the 7-way
connector, ensuring that the locking tab engages.
5. Plug the adapters 4-flat connector into the tow vehicle's
4-flat trailer harness. This connection will provide tail &
marker light, stop light & turn signal functions.
6. Determine an appropriate position on the vehicle frame
or other metal surface within reach of the adapter harness to
attach the grounding screw. Clean away any dirt, debris or
undercoating and drill a 3/32" hole.
Caution: Do not drill into any exposed surfaces or
through the vehicle body.
7. Attach the adapter's white wire with the ring terminal
to the vehicle using the screw provided. This attachment is
