damaged by water or moisture. The user shall be solely and exclusively
liable for any and all damage that may occur from water-related mishaps
related to used of this product.
• Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or plug,
malfunctions or is not working properly, leaks, has been dropped, or
damaged. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to
examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel
should perform any servicing. Return the product to a service center for
examination and repair.
• This product is intended for indoor, household use only. Do not use
outdoors.

POLARIZATION INSTRUCTION: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
NOTE: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
If a longer cord is required, extension cords are available from local hardware
stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord
is used (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape (i.e., over a countertop or tabletop) where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by children or pets.
To use:
NOTE: In order to ensure the quality of the product, water was boiled in the hot pot
prior to shipping. This quality testing may leave spots on the heating plate inside
of the product. This is a normal occurrence and should not be viewed as a product
defect.
CAUTION: Use extreme caution moving the product when it contains hot water.
This product generates steam during use. Use care to avoid being burned or
scalded by the steam.
1. Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and the Power
Control Knob is in the "Low" position;
2. Clean the product before each use.
Follow the cleaning instructions in the "Care & Maintenance" section.
3. Add water to the product. Keep the product level when adding water.
