HDMI HDBaseT + RS232 and IR over Cat Extender Box Scaling Receiver - 4K 60Hz

Firmware Upgrade

The receiver uses RS232 port on rear panel and Scaler port on front panel for firmware upgrade (scaler only).
1. Launch a RS232 serial interface software on your computer. Configure RS232 parameters for the RS232 port correctly.
2. Connect RS232 channel to the scaler.
Input the following command in the textbox and click "Send": CONNECT SCA<CR><LF>
Response: CONNECT SCA<CR><LF>
3. Obtain current firmware version. Input the following command and click "Send": GET VER<CR><LF>
Response: VER 2.2<CR><LF>
4. Start upgrading to firmware version 2.3. Input the following command and click "Send": UPG<CR><LF>
Response: UPG<CR><LF>
Process lasts about 3 minutes, and the computer will receive the response "UPG_COMPLETE" to indicate that upgrading is completed successfully.
To verify the newly updated firmware version, send the "GET VER<CR><LF>" command, the computer receives response showing that the firmware
version is 2.3.

Important Safety Information

Do not plug the unit in any outlet that does not have enough current to allow the device to function. Refer to the specifications in this manual
for power level of the unit.
Liquid: If this unit or it's corresponding power adapter has had liquid spilled on or in it, do not attempt to use the unit. Do not attempt to use
this product in an outdoor environment as elements such as rain, snow, hail, etc. can damage the product.
In case of a storm, it is recommended that you unplug this device from the outlet.
Avoid placing this product next to objects that produce heat such as portable heaters, space heaters, or heating ducts.
THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS. Do not attempt to open this product and expose the internal circuitry. If you feel that the
product is defective, unplug the unit and refer to the warranty information section of this manual.
