Read the operating instructions
completely before using for
the first time.
The operating instructions
can be found on the
Leifheit homepage under
www.leifheit.de.
• Use the appliance only as
described in these instructions.
• Check the appliance for visible
damage on the outside before use.
Do not use the appliance if it has
visible damage.
• The appliance may not be put into
operation if the connecting line or
plug are damaged, if it does not
function correctly, if it has been
dropped or damaged.
• The electric safety of the appli-
ance is only guaranteed when it is
used according to the regulations.
The manufacturer is not liable for
any damage that results from the
incorrect use of the appliance.
In case of doubt, consult
a specialist.
• Where possible, do not use any
adapters, multiple sockets and/or
extension cables.

If however, this should be neces-
sary, only use adapters, multiple
sockets and/or extension ca-
bles that comply with the safety
guidelines and never exceed the
maximum power specified on the
adapter.
• Repairs may only be carried out
by authorised customer services
technicians.
• If the cable is defective, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or
authorized service technicians to
avoid hazards.
• Never open the appliance single-
handedly. The individual compo-
nents of the appliance must not
be disassembled, repaired or
altered. There is a risk of electric
shock when making contact with
live connections or electric
components.
• Incorrect repairs may result in
significant dangers for the user
and cancel any claims under
guarantee.
• Make sure that the appliance is
switched off before plugging the
mains plug into the socket as well
as before removing it.
• Do not touch the appliance as
well as the mains plug with wet
hands.
