• Read the supplied Novopress safety notes in their entirety and
follow the instructions they contain to the letter
• Read through the operating instructions in their entirety before
taking the tool into operation and follow the instructions they
contain to the letter
• Keep the operating instructions together with the tool
• Comply with the relevant national safety regulations
DANGER
Fatal electric shock hazard
` Protect the tool against moisture
` Do not spot-drill the tool housing; use adhesive labels for additional
identification
Explosion hazard
` Do not use the tool close to highly inflammable fluids or in potentially
explosive atmospheres (gas or dust)
WARNING
Risk of injury from lack of care
` Keep the working area clean and tidy
` Keep children and other persons away whilst the tool is being used
` Store the tool in a locked room out of the reach of children
` Work carefully and sensibly
` Make sure your footing is secure and avoid abnormal body positions
` Do not use the tool if tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medicaments
Risk of injury from incorrect handling
` People without technical training are only allowed to use the tool
provided that they have been instructed by a trained specialist
` Always hold the tool away from your body when working
` Do not use the tool when working overhead
` Always wear personal protective equipment and protective goggles.
Do not wear baggy clothing or jewellery
` Keep long hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts of the
tool
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the device from incorrect handling
` Do not overload the tool
` Use the transport case for transport and storage, and store the tool
in a dry room
` Service the tool regularly and check it is functioning correctly
` Have any malfunctions and damage repaired immediately by an
authorised specialist workshop
` Have repair work and inspections performed by an authorised
specialist workshop. Only use original spare parts
