If all the air had escaped, add more to the tire. This will
help give the tire resistance to push against.
Place a small amount of rubber cement on plug where it
meets the insertion needle.
Firmly push insertion needle and plug through the
puncture. Push plug through to leave approximately 3/8"
(10mm) showing.
Pull the tool out at the same angle you inserted it.

Trim excess plug with the provided blade in your
Recovery Tire Repair Kit.
Reinflate the tire to standard operating pressure.
Using water, check for bubbles created by a leak in the
plug. If there is a leak, remove plug and repeat all steps.
Check tire pressure consistently to ensure repair is
complete
Patch Repair Steps
NOTE: Tire needs to be dismounted
from wheel to use
CAUTION: The wire and patches included in this kit are designed for
temporary sidewall repairs in the event of an emergency. A qualified
repair facility should be consulted for a long term solution.
• Rough up the area around the puncture on the inside of the tire.
Clean and Dry before starting repair.
• Thread wire in and out around the puncture wound, pulling the
halves of the tire together.
• Apply the supplied rubber cement all around the affected area,
including the puncture points from the wire.
• Remove silver backing of patch and coat with cement.
• Apply patch to back side of tire at puncture.
• Let cement dry before adding air
• Get vehicle to tire repair shop as soon as possible.
