Intended Use
The power tool is intended exclusively for cutting or
slotting mainly mineral materials (without the use of
water), such as reinforced concrete, brickwork and
road surfaces.
For damage caused by usage other than intended, the
user is responsible.
Before Starting Operation
Mounting Application Tools and
Adjusting the Cutting Width
Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
Application tools can become very hot
while working; do not touch them before
they have cooled down.

Press the locking pin 5 on the fixed guard down in
0702 417 X
order to release the movable guard 3.

Remove both retaining screws of the fixed guard cover.

Remove the fastening screw for the cutting-disc block 9

with the provided spanner.

Mount the cutting-disc block 9 in the following order:
2 – 45 mm
• Bottom cutting-disc carrier ring 12

• Spacers 11
• Diamond cutting disc
• Upper drive ring 10
Adjust the slot width by moving the cutting discs
between the spacers 11. Pay attention that the holes in
the diamond cutting discs are exactly centered!
The arrow on the movable guard 3 must correspond
with the direction-of-rotation arrow on the diamond cut-
ting discs.
Thoroughly clean the elements of the cutting-disc block
9 each time when adjusting the cutting width.
Before beginning to work, run the power tool at no-
load to check the proper alignment of the cutting discs
and spacers.
Adjusting the Cutting Depth
Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
Set the Cutting depth to the desired value with the pin
6 on the back of the fixed guard.
For a cutting depth of 60 mm, do not engage the pin 6.
For cutting depths from 30-35-40-45-50 mm, insert the
pin 6 at the desired cutting-depth setting 4.
Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of
the power source must correspond with the data on
the type plate of the machine.
Switching On and Off
For starting operation, push the lock-off button 2
down and press the On/Off switch 1.
To switch off the power tool, release the On/Off
switch 1.
