STEP 4
FOR A/C SEPARATION
A
Position the arm with hand on hip as
indicated in Figure 22. Stretch each
ISS Strap individually (Fig. 22A). Thread
through adjustable ISS Anchor, loosely
®
secure with Velcro
. (Fig. 22B)

Attach the A/C pad.
The A/C pad is designed to be placed over
the acromioclavicular (A/C) joint. Slip
it underneath the ISS Strap (Fig. 22A).
Circular cutout (Fig. 23) of the A/C Pad
fits on top of the A/C Head. Velcro
Tabs are provided to assist in securing
the A/C Pad (Fig. 23). Secure ISS strap
®
with Velcro
. (Fig. 22B)
NOTE: THE SSO™ INTEGRATED STRAPPING
SYSTEM PROVIDES MULTI-DIRECTION AND
INTERIOR SUPPORT. APPLICATION OF THE
A/P STRAP IS DEPENDENT ON THE HEALTH
CARE PROVIDER'S DISCRETION BASED ON
THE PATIENT'S PARTICULAR INDICATION.
THE A/P STRAP IS CONSIDERED OPTIONAL
FOR A/C SEPARATION SECURING OF THE
A/C PAD.

Attach the A/P Strap under the affected
arm with the Butterfly Velcro
(Fig. 24)

With hand on hip, wrap anteriorly around
Biceps, Triceps, (Fig. 25) through Axilla.

Continue A/P Strap over Deltoid. (Fig.
26) To ensure A/P Strap maintains
alignment over Deltoid, secure to Velcro
Landing Pad (Fig. 27)

Pull firmly across back and attach to
chest (Base Closure) with Velcro

Adjust A/P Strap tension as necessary
for desired range of motion.
NOTE: A/P STRAP MAY BE CUSTOMIZED
