• 1 phase gel
1 phase gels usually cure within 2 x 90 seconds. To do this,
set the timer to 90 sec and start it twice by first pushing the
Time Start button (G) once. As soon as the lamp has switched
off push the button again.
• Acrylic liquid and 2 phase gel
Acrylic liquid and 2 phase gels usually cure in 1 x 120
seconds. To do this, set the timer to 120 seconds and start the
timer once by pushing the Time Start button (G).
• Sealer and gloss gel
Sealers and gloss gels usually cure in 2 x 120 seconds. To do
this, set the timer to 120 sec and start it twice by first pushing
the Time Start button (G) once. As soon as the lamp has
switched off push the button again.
• Partial curing of gel (e.g., stone placement)
For stone placement, the stone is placed in the hole with gel.
The nail is usually partially cured for 1 x 90 seconds so that
the nail can then be worked on further. To do this, set the
timer to 90 seconds and start the timer once by pushing the
Time Start button (G).
If the customer should experience a burning feeling on the
nail plate when gels have been used, this is caused by the
applied gel and not by the Promed UVL-36 UV lamp.
Possible causes include outdated gel and cheap gel of poor
quality.
