4. Installation
The electric control panel must be fastened by
using the relevant holes on the back.
During installation do not damage the electronic
cards and the other electrical components found
inside of the box.
Provide for enough space all around the control
panel for natural cooling.
Do not install the control panel in places exposed
to direct sunlight or near sources of heat.
5. Electrical connection
Electrical connection must be carried out
by a qualified electrician in accordance
with local regulations.
Follow all safety standards.
The unit must be properly earthed (grounded).
Follow the instructions in the wiring diagram
hereto attached.
Once the electrical connection has been
completed, remove any pieces of wire, sheath,
washers or any other foreign bodies that may be
found inside the electric control panel.
5.1. Capacitor
Fasten the capacitor in the suitable seat
through the supplied clamp and connect it
through the terminals.
6. Starting
When the control unit is turned on, the pump is on
STOP. Switching on the main bi-polar switch the
pump stars.
7. Operation
7.1. Standard operation
Control box for control of a single-phase motor.
The pump can work automatically with the signals
from the pressure switch (pressure circuit) or a
float switch (tank filling). When one of this signals
is installed, use the supplied M16 cable gland.
To fill a storage tank, remove bridge on terminals
and connect the brown-black leads of the float
switch to the control box terminals.
Note 1: when the maximun current of
the float switch is less than the nominal
current of the pump, the float switch
has to connect to LVBT electronic card
(on request).
7.2. Operating
electronic card
Control box for control of a single-phase motor
with LVBT electronic card. Protects submersed
pumps against dry-running.
