Operating Instructions:

WARNING
– To reduce the risk of serious injur y:
• Sit down in the unit slowly. To avoid tip over, do not throw your weight
against the back of the unit. Move the unit into or out of the reclining
position slowly, making sure that no children or pets are in close proximity.
• The 1CT ComfortTouch chair is intended for a single occupant, not

exceeding 250 pounds. Do not operate the chair with more than one
occupant in or on any part of the chair.
• To safely exit the unit and prevent a tripping hazard bring the back
upright and close the legrest.
(1CT) ComfortTouch ™ Adjustable Firmness Recliner Operating Instructions
The ComfortTouch ™ recliner contains two inflatable air chambers, one in the
seat and one in the lumbar area, for customized comfort and support. There
are numerous combinations of seat and lumbar adjustable settings, and two
memor y presets to store individualized programmed settings.
• Press the FIRM buttons to increase the firmness of the seat and back.
• Press the SOFT buttons to decrease the firmness of the seat and back.
• Press and release any button to increase or decrease the firmness setting
by one number. Press and hold any button to quickly increase or
decrease the firmness setting.
• The numeric display indicates the selected level of firmness from the
softest setting of "0," to the firmest setting of "9." The numeric display
will blink when the seat or back is adjusting, and will stop blinking
when the selected setting is reached.
• To save your desired Comfort Index settings, press and hold either the
A or the B memory position button for two seconds. To recall your saved
Comfort Index settings, simply press the memory position button the
settings were stored in.
When electrical power is restored after a power outage, or when unplugged
and then plugged back in, the two inflatable air chambers will return to the
last setting before power loss. The Comfort Index settings stored in memor y
will not be affected by electrical power interruption.

inside the pocket, when the unit is plugged in.
