Set of rollers
The set of rollers is the central element of the BSA 43xx. The reaction occurring on braking is measured by sensors,
recorded, evaluated and transferred by way of the field bus system (BNet) to the display unit.

Functions
Protect the mounts of the test rollers against damage and contamination.
Secured with bolts.
Transmit their rotation to the wheel to be tested by way of friction. Standard test rollers are provid-
ed with a plastic/corundum coating. Due to the very high coefficient of friction, high braking forces
are transmitted even with a low axle load.
Each pair of rollers is driven by a separate electric motor. Power is transmitted between the test
rollers on each side by way of a chain drive.
Protects the drive motors, chain drives and roller set control system beneath it.
Monitors the running of the wheel (slip check) and the wheel position and thus implements the
switching and safety function of the dynamometer. A foot guard is provided beneath the slip rollers.
