SAFETY GUARD INSTRUCTIONS
Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before

cleaning, disassembling, or assembling. Do not immerse cord, plug, or motor
in water or other liquid.

Cut Hazard.
The Grinder is equipped with a
Safety Guard. This Safety Guard is
here to prevent injury to the user.
The only reason that the Safety
Guard should be removed is for
cleaning purposes; then it should be
REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.
To remove the Safety Guard, use
the provided Flat-Head Screwdriver
to loosen all four of the screws that
hold the Safety Guard to the Tray
(FIGURE 1). There is no need to
completely remove the screws from
the Safety Guard since they can be
easily lost.
Remove the Safety Guard, clean
as instructed in the "Cleaning
Instructions" on page 15, and then
IMMEDIATELY REPLACE the
Safety Guard onto the Tray.
To install the Safety Guard, use the
provided flat-head screwdriver to
tighten all four of the screws that
hold the Safety Guard to the tray
(FIGURE 1).
