6.2 Adjusting the bending angle

Too frequent and excessive bending can destroy the torch neck.
• Only make minor corrections.

1 Plug/screw the setting sleeve (3) onto/into the gas nozzle receptacle.
2 Put the adjusting lever (4) onto the setting sleeve (3) and correct the bending angle slightly.
During this process, continually check the concentricity of the test mandrel (1) and gauging sleeve (2).
The bending angle is correct if the test mandrel (1) fits easily into the bore of the gauging sleeve (2).
7 Maintenance and cleaning
Scheduled maintenance and cleaning are prerequisites for a long service life and trouble-free operation.
7.1 Monthly
Monthly basic cleaning is recommended, and necessary in case of extreme working conditions.
