12. MAINTENANCE

1. Make sure to maintain the machine in good working
condition, carry out regular maintenance on the
machine after each use and before storage.
2. Any breach in adequate maintenance reduces the life
of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns
and accidents.
3. To preserve the security system throughout the life of
the machine, it is important to perform maintenance
and proper cleaning, DO NOT use non-compliant
replacement parts and DO NOT dismantle the machine
yourself or change the security features.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the engine has stopped and is cool before
performing any service to the machine. Contact with
moving cutting head or hot muffler may result in serious
personal injury.

AIR FILTER
If the air filter, gets clogged, it will reduce the engine's
performance. Check and clean the filter element if
needed in warm, soapy water. Let it dry completely
before reinstalling. If the element is broken or shrunk,
replace with a new one.
