TO DRILL THE SEAT FOR THE SWIVEL:
1) Turn the top of the Swivel (D) approximately
1/8 turn in relation to the bottom of the
swivel. Center the Swivel (D) on the bottom
of the Seat (E) as shown in FIGURE 1. The
holes for the screws in the swivel will line up
with the indentations on the seat. Remove
the swivel and drill 1/8" dia meter pilot hole
1/2" deep, in the center of each indentation.
(Do not attach the swivel at this time.)

TO ATTACH THE BACK POSTS TO THE
SEAT:
2) Spread glue evenly in each of the outermost
holes on either side of the Seat (E). Insert
the Back Posts (FP) into these holes, as
shown in FIGURE 2. Keep the slot on the
bottom of the back posts crossways to the
wood grain. See FIGURE 3.

TO INSERT THE WEDGES INTO THE BACK
POSTS:
3) Put a little glue on the end of the wood
Wedge (J) and hammer the wedge into the
slots at the bottom of the back posts as
shown in FIGURE 3.
