Safety Instructions
- Read the user instructions carefully before using your
appliance for the first time: failure to comply with
these instructions would absolve Moulinex from all
liability.
- This appliance is not designed to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities, or persons devoid of experience or
knowledge, unless they have received prior
instructions on the use of the appliance from a person
responsible for their safety or are kept under close
surveillance during its use.
Children should be kept under close surveillance to
make sure they do not play with the appliance.
- Check that the voltage of your appliance matches
your power supply voltage. Any connection error
would render the guarantee null and void.
- Your appliance is intended solely for domestic indoor use.
- Unplug your appliance as soon as you stop using it or
to clean it.
- Do not use your appliance if it is not operating
properly or if it has been damaged.
- Handle the blade (D) with care: it is extremely SHARP.
- All operations other than cleaning and usual
maintenance must be performed by an approved
Moulinex service centre.
- Do not submerge the motor base (A), power cord or
socket in any liquid.
- If the power cord or plug is damaged, do not use the
appliance. To avoid all hazards, have them replaced
by an approved Moulinex service centre (see list in
the servicing booklet).

Before you use your appliance for the first time, wash
and dry the parts that will be in contact with food.
Chopping Function
The powerful, large-capacity Moulinette is quick, efficient
and easy to clean. In a few seconds, it can chop up:
- parsley, garlic, onions, herbs,
- raw and cooked meat,
- ham, hard-boiled eggs
- walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, rusks, cheese, etc.
Starting up
• Place the motor base (A) on a table.
Do not plug in your Moulinette.
• Place the chopping bowl (C) on the motor base (A).
Place the blade (D) on the central shaft inside the bowl,
pressing on the white part of the blade until you hear
a click which locks it into place. (diagram 2)
Caution: the blades are sharp.
Place the cut-up food in the bowl.
• Put the lid (E) on the bowl (C) and lock it in place by
turning it anti-clockwise (diagram 3).
You can now plug in your Moulinette.
• Press the control button (B). The Moulinette starts up
immediately (diagram 4).
To stop it, release the button. The appliance stops
quickly.
Never remove the lid before the blade has come
to a full stop.
Unplug the appliance after each operation and before
cleaning it.
Unlock the lid by turning it clockwise then lifting it.
• To remove the blade (D), first hold the bowl (C) with
one hand and press on the blade button with the
thumb (diagram 5).
Remove the blade (D) from inside the bowl (C) before
using your chopped-up food.
Useful tips
- Important: when chopping, you will get better results
through multiple presses.
- Press the control button for the required length of
time depending on how fine the food is to be
chopped.
- To get a fine, even chop, scrape the food off the sides
with a spatula and spread it in the bowl.
