Using a pair of
needle nose
pliers or a flat blade,
loosen retaining nut
(PDI377) by turning
counterclockwise
and unscrew from
stem. Remove white
retainer (PDI039). Remove and
replace dosing seal (JDI011).
4.
On black
injection sleeve,
remove and
replace injection
sleeve o-ring
(J024).
5.
Replace injection stem o-ring (J101)
on white injection stem (P167).
To remove o-ring easily without tools,
squeeze it on either side to raise the
seal, then slide it over the groove

CAUTION: Parts may contain
STOP
concentrated chemicals. The use of
Proper Protective Equipment is recom-
mended when performing maintenance.
6. Place dosing seal
(JDI011) inside top of
white stem (PDI462).
Insert white retainer
(PDI039) and retaining
nut (PDI377). Screw
into place and hand-
tighten.
Insert white stem (PDI469) into

black injection sleeve (P167),
matching up
long groove on
stem to notch in
sleeve. Firmly
push down into
place. Replace
friction washer
(P189) onto
sleeve and
screw on lock-
ing nut (P168).
Insert new check
valve assembly
(PJ114) into white stem, pushing
firmly into place. Screw on check
valve nut (PDI465) and hose nut
(PDI038).
Instructions
(Parts included in kit noted in blue)
1.
Remove 4 screws
(M101) at base of
unit and pull dosing
stem straight down
to remove.
2.
Remove, set
aside hose nut
(PDI038) and
check valve
nut (PDI465).
Pull out check
valve assembly
(PJ114), noting
orientation of
barb. Unscrew
locking nut
(P168) and
remove, along
with friction
washer (P189). Push firmly up on
white stem (PDI462) and remove
out of black sleeve (P167).
Using tools could damage the plunger
and affect the injection rate
8. Reattach sleeve
assembly to body
and tighten 4
screws (M101).
9. Unscrew inlet/outlet adapters
(P252). Remove old black adapter
seals (J534EP) and replace with
new ones from kit. Screw inlet/outlet
adapters (P252) back on.

We recommend cleaning all parts with
warm soapy water and a toothbrush before
installing the new parts.
Water normally lubricates the parts, but you
may use silicone on the o-ring to facilitate
insertion.
Check valve may be taken apart and
cleaned in between maintenance to
remove particles.
Do not forget to reset the injector to the
proper percentage.
