Introduction

1.1) Target group
These operating instructions contain important information about operating and servicing the side
approach mechanisms. It is intended for persons who install, commission, and maintain the side
approach mechanisms. The instructions do not describe which side approach mechanisms
should be used for each pending task should. Product information on the side approach mecha-
nisms provides this information.

Warranty and liability claims with damages to property and persons are
excluded if they are due to one or several of the following causes:
 Incorrect installation or start-up operation of the side approach mechanisms
 Operation of the side approach mechanisms. with defective safety devices, improperly
installed or non-functioning safety and protective devices
 Unauthorised structural changes to the side approach mechanisms
 Non-compliance with maintenance intervals or improperly executed maintenance
 Improper repair
 Use of spare parts that do not meet the conditions stipulated by the manufacturer
 Disaster situations, actions of third parties or force majeure
