BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Clean the plate and accessories (see "Cleaning and Maintenance" section).
After this cleaning, it is advisable to heat the plate for 10 minutes, without food, in order to
eliminate any residual grease and to remove the "new" smell.
Ventilate the room during this operation, and in general, during any use.
Note : The product is protected by grease, however, there may be some rust spots on the
plate, which can be easily removed by following the cleaning section.
OPERATION
Plug in the appliance and set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The power
light (green) and the pilot light (yellow) will illuminate. As soon as the desired
temperature is reached, the pilot light will go out. When the temperature falls, the
thermostat will be activated again, and the pilot light will illuminate. It will go out
again as soon as the temperature is reached.
Preheat the grill to reach the ideal cooking temperature. When the appliance
reaches the desired temperature, the pilot light will go out.
Now put the foodstuffs onto the grilling surface.
The grilling times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal
taste.
The grease draining tray (drawer) on the left collects the superfluous grease. Please
empty and clean it regularly.
When grilling is finished, turn the thermostat knob to the "MIN" position and
disconnect the grill.
Practical hints
Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled.
To grill meat, put the thermostat in its maximum position and preheat the grill. For
other ingredients, choose the temperature accordingly.
CLEANING AND CARE
To increase the grill longevity, it is essential to clean the hob after each use and to apply
a "BBQ" protection oil.
Before cleaning your appliance, set the thermostat knob to the minimum position
and disconnect the plug from the wall electrical connection.
Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
Never immerse the device, in whole or in part, in water or any other liquid.
Clean exterior surfaces and accessories with a soft, damp cloth without aggressive
detergent.
Clean the cooktop only with a coarse kitchen cloth. In case of heavy soiling during
cooking, we recommend moistening the plate to remove grease. You can use a
scourer but only on the plate.
The hob is made of professional steel, also over time, its appearance can change and
get a different color as bluish or darker. These phenomena in no way affect the taste
qualities.
