GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Before commissioning this device please read the instruction
manual carefully.
- Please keep this instructions, the sales receipt and, if possible, the
carton with the inner packaging.
- The device is intended exclusively for private and not for
commercial use!
- Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is
not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or
whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand.
Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
- In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical
appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device.
Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in
such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take care
to insure that the cable does not hang down.
- Test the device and cable regularly for damage. If there is damage
of any kind, the device should not be used.
- WARNING: «Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling»
- WARNING: «Position the lid so that steam is directed away from
the handle»
- Do not immerse in any liquids.
- The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use,
don't touch
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorised
expert.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS MACHINE
- Use only cold water when filling.
- The water level must under the MAX marks.
- Switch the machine off before removing it from the base.
- Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
- The base and exterior that the lid is tightly closed.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally switch on an empty kettle , the boil dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the
kettle to cool down before filling with cold water.
FIRST USE OF THE MACHINE
- Before using the machine for the first time, water should be boiled twice without any additives.
- Unwind the lead from the base. Place the machine on a flat surface.

- Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight,
moisture, sharp edges and such like.
- Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever
you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
- Use only original accessories.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Do not use the device outdoors.
- Under no circumstances must the device be placed in water or
other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the device
with wet or moist hands.
- Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug
from the socket immediately. Do not reach into water.
- Use the device only for the intended purpose.
- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
- This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities of
lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
- The base and exterior of the machine must not become wet.
- When the kettle is separated at the fault condition from the stand,
the thermal cut-out could be reset.
- The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
