INSTALLING THE CHARGING STATION
The charging station can be mounted on a studded wall or a solid
wall. For metal studded or solid walls, the installer will need to
provide the appropriate wall anchors.
After selecting a suitable wall location to mount the charging station,
follow the instructions below:
1. Remove charger from packaging and remove decorative panels
from front of unit with a firm pulling action. This will expose
8 Torx head screws (Figure 2). (Panels are attached with
pressure sensitive fasteners).
2. Remove 8 Torx head screws then lift off cover (Figure 3). Unplug
jumper connectors from the mating connectors on the circuit
boards to separate cover from base.
3. Determine which of the three locations in the charger base will
be used for the incoming power cable and drill out the plastic
at that location (Figure 4).
4. Locate a vertical wall stud where the Charging Station will be
located.
5. Measure up 48" from the floor and make a horizontal mark
across the wall stud location.
6. Draw a vertical line that intersects the horizontal line on the
center of the stud. The intersection of these two lines will be
the location of the bottom drill hole for mounting the charging
station (Figure 5).

7. Use the mounting hole drill diagram (supplied on the back
page of this document) and use it to locate and mark the two
mounting holes on the wall stud center. (The lower mark on the
drawing will correspond with the intersection of the two lines
from step 6 above. If it is determined that the incoming power
will enter through the back of the base, then use the drawing
to mark the wall for the desired location. The drawing has
dimensions that correspond to the entry locations in the base of
the charger.
8. For wood studs, drill 1/8" dia. mounting holes 2" deep at the
locations indicated by the template, for metal studs or solid
walls which require anchors, refer to manufacturer's instructions
for anchor installation.
9. Align base on wall and screw #10 x 2" lag screws with sealing
washers through base into wall. For metal studs or solid wall,
use the hardware supplied with the anchors and follow the
manufacturer's instructions for anchoring the base to the wall.
