Installation instruction

Dear customer,
please read this installation manual carefully before
installing the hood.
Damages based on installation not complying with
the directives given hereunder are not covered by
warranty terms.
Attention:
Installation must done in conformity with your
national standards.
The vapour extraction hood is available in various
versions:
- UltraVent (UV) condensation extractor hood (gas
®
and electric units) no exhaust system necessary for
electric units.
- UltraVent (UV) condensation extractor hood for
®
Combi-Duo (only electric units)
- Standard extractor hood (EH) for gas and electric
units exhaust connection necessary.
- Standard extractor hood (EH) for Combi-Duo electric
units exhaust connection necessary.
Attention:
The hood may only be installed by an approved
technician in accordance with the actual valid local
standards and regulations.

1. Delivery
Carefully unpack the unit on delivery and check
to ensure that no damage has been caused in
transit (follow the instructions on the
packaging).
1.1 Observe the installation height. When assem-
bling unit and UV/EH it must be made sure, that
headroom underneath the front of the
UV/EH is at least 210 cm.
2. Before installing the UV/EH
2.1 The extractor UV/EH is supplied as standard for
appliances for doors which open from the right.
In the case of units with left-hand opening the
following procedure must be followed:
- Remove the "front" cover plate of the
extractor UV/EH.
- Fit adapter plate supplied for left-hand
opening (pic. 1 item 1).
- Inside UV/EH, behind the fat filter, there is a
screw with gasket that closes the fixing hole
for units with left hinged doors.
Undo this screw and close the hole used for
units with right hinged doors.
2.2 Place the gasket adapter (pic 1. pos. 2) over
the vent pipe of the unit.
3. Installation of the UV/EH
Attention
Observe the weight of the units (approx. 60 kg).
Wear safety boots.
