Operating Instructions
For your own safety, before using this equipment,
read these instructions and the accompanying
A. Descaling
Fill the tank with sufficient descaling solution and water, so that the liquid level stays between the
lowest and highest value "MIN" and "MAX".
THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CLEANING SOLUTION SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 50° C.
MAKE SURE TO USE THE RIGHT DESCALING LIQUIDS AS
STATED IN THE SEPARATE SHEET INCLUDED WITH THE PUMP.
Follow the manufacturer's specific instructions for handling and use of chemical products.
Screw the outer ends of the reinforced hoses to the equipment to be descaled. Connect the power
cable to a suitable 220/230 Volt, 50 Hz single phase supply.
During functioning keep the tank cap open, thus letting out the gases formed in descaling and
check that the foam level doesn't exceed the max filling level. Set the two-way and the three-way
valves as in the detail shown in figure 1, close the "clean water inlet" tap and turn the pump on
through the switch.
During descaling, periodically move the flow reverser handle right and left in order to make
descaling faster and more effective. If the liquid has a colour indicator, when a change in colour
occurs, further product has to be added in the tank, because exhausted. Scale removal can be
considered complete, when there is no more effervescence in the product. End the operation by
washing the installation with a neutralizer so that residual acidity is removed, after having
removed all the descaling acid out of the pump.
Don't transport the pump when there is still acid inside.
B. Installation renovation
Screw the outer ends of the reinforced hoses to the equipment to be washed and connect the
"clean water inlet" tap to a water tap, the drain plug to the drain and the hose fitting of the three-
way valve to the drain.
Connect the power cable to a suitable 220/230 Volt, 50 Hz single phase supply.
During functioning keep the tank cap open.
Fill the tank with sufficient water, so that the level stays between the lowest and highest value
"MIN" and "MAX". Open the drain tap, turn the pump on with the switch.
To restore the installation, act as follows:
1. Empty the installation of its content: set the flow reverser handle to the two-way valve (A),
open the two-way valve, set the three-way valve (B) as shown in figure 2.
2. Prewash the installation with clean water: keep the flow handle to the three-way valve (A), leave
the two-way valve open and set the three-way valve (B) as shown in figure 3.
3. Restore the installation by adding a chemical (in amount equal to 3/5% of the total installation
capacity) to the clean water in the tank: keep the valves and the flow reverser in the positions
as in point 2. Periodically move the flow reverser handle right and left in order to make
restoring faster and more effective (figure 4)
4. Empty the installation and wash it with clean water: keep the flow reverser to the two-way
valve (A), leave the two-way valve open and set the three-way valve (B) as shown in figure 5.
5. Refill the installation and directly dose a protective product in amount prescribed of the total
installation capacity for a first dosing. Keep the flow reverser to the two-way valve (A), leave
the two-way valve open and set the three-way valve (B) as shown in figure 6.
C. Installation emptying-refilling
Screw the outer ends of the reinforced hoses to the equipment to be made empty and through a
pipe connect the "clean water inlet" tap to a water delivery point, the drain tap to the drain and the
hose fitting of the three-way valve to the drain. Connect the power cable to a suitable 220/230
Volt, 50 Hz single phase supply. During functioning keep the tank cap open.
1) Installation emptying: Set the flow reverser handle to the two-way valve (A), open the two-way
valve, set the three-way valve (B) as shown in figure 7.
2) Installation refilling: Open the drain tap and the "clean water inlet" one. Set the flow reverser
handle to the three-way valve (B), close the two-way valve (A) and set the three-way valve as
shown in figure 8.
safety booklet carefully and completely.
Keep these instructions.
