• Disconnect the gas cylinder if the outdoor heater is not in use. If the outdoor heater is not in
use for an extended period and is being stored away, the gas cylinder, regulator and outdoor
heater must be disconnected and stored separately.
• The flexible gas hose must be replaced 2 years after its date of manufacture.
CHECKING FOR LEAKS
Never check for leaks while smoking!
The outdoor heater's gas connections were checked at the factory for leaks before being
shipped. During installation you must perform a complete check for leaks, given that it could have
been subjected to improper treatment or high pressure during shipping.
1. Check the outdoor heater using a full gas cylinder.
2. Ensure that the control knob is switched to OFF.
3. Make up a soap solution of 1 part liquid soap and 1 part water. You can apply the solution with
a spray bottle, brush or cloth.
4. Turn the control knob to HIGH.
5. lf there is a leak then you will see soap bubbles. If there is a leak then turn the control knob to
OFF. Tighten any fittings that might be leaking, open the gas leed again and check once more.
Contact the seller of your outdoor heater or your gas supplier if you continue to see soap
bubbles.
