3. Notes on safety

Deadly shock caused by damaged device components
A Disconnect the mains cable from the power grid in case of damage.
A Contact your Vectron specialist retailer if device components are damaged.
Danger of explosion
The scale is not explosion-protected.
A Never operate the scale in rooms or areas where there is a risk of explosion.
Risk of electric shock or fire due to damaged cables
Cables can be deformed and their insulation damaged.
A Do not store cables near heat sources.
Danger of tripping and damaging device caused by cables lying
unprotected in the room.
A Route the device cables so that they do not pose a potential hazard!
A Route the cables so that they are not subjected to tensile loading.
Incorrect operation due to defects on the device
A Before each use and after special incidents, the user must check the balance for proper
functioning, damage to the housing or live cables.
