7. General information
7.1. Intended use
Damage to the measuring mechanism due to continuous load
A Load the weighing plate only for the duration of the weighing process.
Damage to the Vectron SC25/SC50 due to overload
A Avoid jolting or overloading the balance above the specified maximum load less any
existing tare load.
Damage to the Vectron SC25/SC50 due to design modifications
A change will invalidate conformity, lead to safety defects and destroy the scale.
A If the balance is changed, it may no longer be used in legal metrology.
A The balance may only be used in accordance with the specifications described.
7.2. Warranty
Vectron offers a limited warranty on components that have become defective due
to stress or material defects. The warranty begins on the day of delivery. Vectron
reserves the right to repair or replace components. Repairs carried out under
warranty do not extend the warranty period. The warranty becomes void in case
of:
X Incorrect use or incorrect installation
X Non-observance of our specifications in the safety and installation instruc-
tions
X Use beyond the described applications
X Modification or opening of the device
X Accidental or mechanical damage and damage caused by substances, liquids,
natural wear and tear and abrasion
X Improper installation or electrical installation
X Overload of the measuring mechanism
