Switch the appliance off and remove the
power plug 4 before starting any work on
the appliance .

Press the ON/OFF switch 3 to start the
appliance .
The appliance starts at maximum speed .

The tightening torque depends on the impact
duration .
Switching off

Release the ON/OFF switch 3 to switch off the
appliance .
ATTENTION!
♦
The tightening torque actually attained must
always be checked with a torque wrench!
Changing the direction of rotation
WARNING!
►
The rotation direction switch 1 may only be
used/adjusted when the appliance is at a
standstill .
♦
Change the direction of rotation by pressing the
rotation direction switch 1 towards the left or
right .
NOTE
►
In clockwise rotation, the maximum torque is
limited to 100 Nm .
Fitting a socket
♦
Push one of the supplied sockets 7 onto the
tool holder 5 .

Maintenance and cleaning

The appliance is maintenance-free .

The appliance must always be kept clean, dry
and free from oil or grease .
■
Never permit liquids to enter inside the appli-
ance .
■
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing .
Never use petrol, solvents or cleansers which
can damage plastic .
■
Only the service centre or a recognised
specialist workshop is qualified to exchange
the replacement carbon brushes 6 via the
maintenance cover 2 .
■
Never obstruct the ventilation openings .
■
Store the appliance in a dry place .
WARNING!

If the mains cable needs to be replaced, this
must be carried out by the manufacturer or
an authorised representative in order to avoid
safety hazards .
