• Users can hang oodlight camera upside down (eave
mount) or install it vertically on the wall.
• Select the installation method that best suits the position
of your junction box.
Wall mount

4. Mounting bracket installation

• Attach the mounting plate to your junction box using the
supplied screws. The concaved side of the mounting plate
must face outwards.
• Make sure that the wires are positioned away from the
mounting plate to avoid pinching the cables.
Eave mount
• Run the cables of the oodlight xture through the
waterproof gasket.
• Using the correct polarity, match each wire from the
oodlight camera with those coming from the junction
box.
Make sure to follow the wiring con guration:
1) Neutral wire (white) on camera to neutral on junction
box.
2) Ground wire (yellow/green) on camera to ground on
junction box.
3) Line/phase wire (black) on camera to line /phase on
junction box.
• Connect the wire ends of each pair into the wire nut, then
twist each nut full turns until the connection is fully
secured. Repeat this step for each cable assembly.
Note: make sure that there is no wire exposed.
