Using Your Food Processor:
WARNING: Avoid contact with moving parts.
1. Make sure the blade is positioned correctly on the center shaft. Handle
with extra care.
2. Place food in the cup without overfilling the appliance. We recommend
pre-chopping any large foods to process easier.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the product or operate it when empty.
3. Place the lid on the cover and turn counterclockwise to lock.
4. Plug your appliance into the electrical outlet. Press the LOW or HIGH
pulse button to process. To turn off, release the button.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon
heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical
reaction. It quickly goes away.
NOTE: As a safety feature appliance will not start if cup and lid are not
locked in position.
5. Remove cover and unlock the cup from the base by turning clockwise. Do
not remove the cover until the blades have stopped turning.
6. Carefully remove blade and transfer your processed food to your desired
bowl.
7. When all desired food has been processed, disconnect appliance from
the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it
is not in use or will be left unattended.
Tips:
The cup has a capacity of 3 cups. For liquid ingredients do not exceed 3
cups. (Maximum Fill Line indicated on Cup)
Tear bread into pieces then process to make bread crumbs. Break
crackers or cookies into pieces and process into crumbs for pie crusts.
Vegetables can be but into 1 inch chunks then processed for a uniform
consistency
Chop nuts; mince parsley, basil, chives, garlic.
Puree cooked vegetables or fruits for baby food or as bases for soups and
sauces.
Do NOT process coffee beans, baking chocolate, hard spices as this could
damage the chopper.
6
