Dip-switch 4:
Pos. OFF: alarm for excess.
Pos. ON: alarm for deficienc.
Any modification on the dip-switches requires
the storage of the relevant configuration also in
the control panel (CONFIGURE REMOTE
DEVICE menu).
ADDRESSING
The address (1-128) is software set and stored
in a non-volatile memory.
The module can be addressed, in manual or
automatic mode from the control panel.
For further details see the control panel's
programming manual.
CONNECTIONS
Detection circuit:
A shielded cable must be used; connect the
shield of the cable (one end in a loop mode) to
the ground in the control panel only and connect
the shield between a device.
The section of leads can vary according to the
length of the detection line.
A lead section of 1.5 mm
Don't use cable that exceed these limits:
Maximum resistance = 100 Ω
Maximum capacitance = 2 µF
Power supply module:
A lead section of 1.5 mm
module powers and handles the detector.
4-20mA detector:
A shielded cable must be used; connect the
shield of the cable to the shield of the detector
circuit near to the module; leave the other end
open. A lead section of 0.75 mm
The connection must not exceed 10 m of length.
Alarm thresholds
User programming
15% - 30% (6,4 - 8,8 mA)
5% - 10% (4,8 - 5,6 mA)
10% - 15% (5,6 - 6,4 mA)
10% - 20% (5,6 - 7,2 mA)
15% - 25% (6,4 - 8,0 mA)
20% - 40% (7,2 - 10,4 mA)
30% - 60% (8,8 - 13,6 mA)

The ITG500 is only to be used with ELKRON
FAP series control panels.
TESTING (trained personnel)
Before testing, notify to competent authority that
the system is temporarily out of service due to
maintenance operations.
The module and the detector can be tested
using a specific tools as indicate by the
manufacturer of the detector.
At the end of testing operations, restore the
system to normal operation and notify the status
to the competent authorities.
