TURN POWER OFF BEFORE CHANGING ANY
SETTINGS
Instrument Input Signal, Output Signal and Failure
Mode Selection. The selection of "input signal", "output
signal" and "failure mode" is determined by "Dip
Switches" S1 to S8.
Instrument Input Signal Selection
A) 4 - 20 mA: Set 1 "ON" / 2 "OFF"
B) 2 - 10 VDC : Set 1 "OFF" / 2 "ON"
C) 1 - 5 VDC : Set 1 "OFF" / 2 "OFF"
Output Signal Selection Transmission Signal
A) 4 - 20 mA: Set 3 "OFF" / 4 "ON" / 5 "OFF"
B) 2 - 10 VDC : Set 3 "ON" / 4 "OFF" / 5 "ON"
Valve Position at Signal Input
A) Fully "Closed" at 4 mA, 2 V or 1 V and fully "Open"
at 20 mA, 10 V, or 5 V : Set 6 "OFF"
B) Fully "Closed" at 20 mA, 10 V or 5 V and fully
"Open" at 4 mA, 2 V, or 1 V : set 6 "ON"

Valve Position upon Loss of Instrument Signal
A) Valve stays in "LAST POSITION" when 4 mA
(2 V or 1 V) is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "ON" / 8 "ON"
B) Valve moves to "Closed" when 4 mA (2 V or 1 V)
is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "OFF" / 8 "ON"
C) Valve moves to "Open" when 4 mA (2 V or 1 V)
is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "ON" / 8 "OFF"
A) Valve stays in "LAST POSITION" when 20 mA
(10 V or 5 V) is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "ON" / 8 "ON"
B) Valve moves to "Closed" when 20 mA (10 V or 5 V)
is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "ON" / 8 "OFF"
C) Valve moves to "Open" when 20 mA (10 V or 5 V)
is "Fully Closed" : Set 7 "OFF" / 8 "ON"
Span (CCS) and Zero (CW) Adjustment
(Using the Push Buttons)
CCW / "Open"
A) Press "SET" for 2 seconds, LED9 will light, now
in manual mode
B) Press "UP" until fully CCW, supply appropriate
"OPEN" input signal
C) Press "MODE" once, CCW / "OPEN" setting
is complete
CW / "Close"
A) Press "DOWN" to fully CW
B) Supply appropriate "CLOSED" input signal
C) Press "MODE" once, CW / "CLOSE" setting
is complete
After finishing the above settings, press "set" once.
Deadband Adjustment
(Input Signal Sensitivity)
SW2: Adjusts sensitivity to input signals
A) Greatest sensitivity is with switch at "1" (0-90 Deg.
is divided into approximately 50 set points),
Resolution 1.8
B) Least sensitivity is with switch at "0" (0-90 Deg.
is divided into approximately 10 set points ),
Resolution 9
NOTE: Each selected number after "1" drops the
number of set points by 5 from the previous setting;
Setting "2" would have approximately 45 set points,
"3" would have 40, etc.)
