Causes
The solar charge controller
needs the battery voltage to
be higher than 6V in order to
turn on when being
connected to the battery
Battery polarity reversal
Battery connection problem
(cables, terminals...)
Defective battery
Solar panel disconnected, not
properly connected, or short
circuit
With a standard charge: The
panel's voltage is lower than
the battery's voltage or too
low solar radiation.
One or several cells of your
panel are covered up.
Battery discharged
Battery deeply discharged.

Solution
Check the battery's voltage,
recharge it if necessary.
Check battery's fuse
Check connections
Replace your battery,
following the disconnection
and connection order (refer
to the installation and
connection passage)
Check connections (polarity
and connection)
The panel will start charging
again as soon as the panel's
voltage is higher than the
battery's voltage.
Check if your solar panel is
clean and make sure none of
the cells are covered.
With a standard charge, the
light turns green as soon as
the battery is charged.
